Course Overview

City Farming Intermediate is developed to train individuals with an interest to learn to plan and supervise planting activities to ensure shrubs, trees and palms are planted according to established horticulture practices and standards.

 

Learning Outcome

At the end of the course, learners will be able to plan and supervise planting activities in different urban farming setup to grow plants safely by applying proper plant care and maintenance.

Assume skills knowledge / Entry Requirement

There is no pre-requisite in terms of prior working experience. In order to understand and follow the course, learners must be: • able to speak, listen, write, and read English at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 4

Relevant Job Role(s)

Individuals who are interested to take up the role of planning and supervising planting activities in an urban farming setup. Workers who intend to make a career switch to agri-food sector.
