WSQ Operate Drones up to 25kg

One-Stop full suite package comprising Theory, Practical and Assessment for operating a multi-rotor unmanned aircraft up to 25kg only. This course is suitable for participant who does not have any experience with Multi-Rotor Unmanned Aircraft (UA).

Learning Outcome

The objective of the programme is to apply drone flying in the industrial sectors, starting with training the drone pilot to operate the drone safely and competently, and progressing to different applications, e.g., inspection, surveillance, photography, filming, 3D modelling, and others.

This training programme aims to train the learners to develop drone technology implementation plans by analysing the practicality, feasibility, and risks to perform required work tasks, and following the promulgated rules, regulations and safety protocols pertaining to drone flights.

This programme helps the organisation to integrate drone technologies into operations to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisational operations and processes.

Assume Skills Knowledge / Entry Requirement

At least 21 Years Old and
Either completed at least Secondary education or demonstrate ability to speak, listen, write and read English equivalent to Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) Level 4.

After this course, you can choose to sit for the theory test administered by CAAS and/or apply for the UAPL Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg) at a separate cost.

This is a bundled course that gives you the opportunity to attain the UAPL for 25kg straightaway without the need to first get the 7kg licence. With the 25kg UAPL, you would be able to conduct most if not all of the drone related commerical operations.
